My Sicilian Roadtrip

My Sicilian Roadtrip.

Holidays always last too short.
This year I enjoyed about ten days in which I undertook a roadtrip of Sicily (Catania area).
An area that had never "experienced" so intensely because often things that you have close to you, you do not think to visit now and when it comes to vacation or trip you always think to far away places or to take the plane...but believe me...Sicily is really a spectacular place on earth.
With the help of Martina and her friends, in a few days we were able to visit the highlights of this beautiful part of Sicily.
In the pictures you will see: Isola Bella, the Alcantara Gorge, the city of Catania, Calamosche Beach (Nature Reserve of Noto), Lachea island and the village that conquer me the most, Marzamemi.
Soon I will also post more about the Alcantara gorges where the water is freezing but the place seems to be enchanted and timeless.
Now i am back at the office but I'm already projected towards next trips and new destinations because there is nothing more beautiful than travel and have fun with the perfect company!

  1. Looks like you had a blast! Your photos are so lovely. Isnt it funny how we often overlook the places that are close to us? People from all over the world travel to Sicily but to you its just a place close by. Glad you got to visit it.
