Mexico: Ik Kil Cenote

Mexico: Ik KIl Cenote.

After visiting the archaeological site of Chichèn Itzà, one of the stops that I will never forget of this trip was the visit to the Cenote Ik Kil.
The Cenote are caves with the open air with the presence of fresh and clear water, the depths vary in each case and the experience of taking a bath in this water is a must.
This is called Ik Kil cenote which has a diameter of about 60 meters and a depth of 40 meters also used by the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in 2010-2011e 2014 for their annual race acrobatic dives.
Ik Kil has become famous for its particular shape and aesthetics composed of nature, water, vines and small waterfalls that make this jewel of nature a living picture.
Really hard to be able to describe with words but when I took a bath in this cenote the first feeling I had was: Liberty.
I completely released my mind from of all thoughts that whirled in my head, I looked up at the sky and I saw this perfect circle full of green, deep blue sky and a strong sun that warmed my heart.
Surely one of the most mystical moments and highlights of this trip to Mexico.
