Road trip Holiday in Sicily

Road trip Holiday in Sicily.

Also this summer 2018 is over.
I spent my two weeks of holidays in Sicily, together with a dear friend, we did a mini-tour of Sicily in 7 days.
Landed in Palermo we visited in order: Catania, Aci Castello, Marzamemi, Scala dei Turchi, Valley of the Temples, San Vito Lo Capo and then we returned to Palermo.
There is no so much to say, Sicily is a beautiful land, full of wonderful things starting from food through the interweaving of cultural influences that have crossed over the centuries and that have left different signs to end with natural beauty like sea and mountains too.
Sicilians are cheerful, hospitable people and always with a smile on their faces.
I admit to be proud of being born in Sicily and I confirm that it is one of the most beautiful lands I have ever seen.
On the other side of the coin, I have to admit that it was the first time I had not felt the slightest desire to come back to live there.
I have always thought that Palermo was not my city and after a year that I live in Milan i think that I was always right about it.
There are thoughts that come when you least expect it or simply when it is the heart itself to make you notice certain things.
Heart and mind often go hand in hand but even if it seems simple and obvious, sometimes not everyone is good at stopping for a moment to listen to them seriously.
